I chose to interview my grandmother on a food called "Mozetti". This recipe originated from my great grandmother during World War II, and has been passed down through the generations. I picked this food because it always brought back so many fond family memories spending time together at my grandparents house as a young child. Now days, we hardly ever eat "Mozetti", but just the thought of it makes my mouth water, so I thought that this project would be a great opportunity to bring back a family tradition.
"but just the thought of it makes my mouth water". This was a really good sentence that shows a lot of voice and sensory detail. Your post shows a lot of your voice.
ReplyDeleteAlthough your post showed a lot of voice, you didn't explain at all what "Mozetti" is. I have never heard of this dish before and i would really like to know. Good Luck on your essay!
P.S. your background is very scary! no offence! haha xD
I like how you add a little history in your post. You talk about how this dish is a family tradition and why you chose it. However, you could add a little more sensory in your post like how Mozetti smells like, how it tastes like, and what it looks like. i like how you add the part about your mouth watering that shows sensory.
ReplyDeletehey dustin!
ReplyDeleteI like how you added how the recipe got to you. Also I liked that you put why you chose your dish. But one thing that I did not like about it was that you did not add much about the dish Mozetti. Like how it taste or smells. Other then that your roots and recipes is good.
Hi Dustin,
ReplyDeleteYou've got a hardworking team...three comments!
I agree with them that you've set this up nicely (I especially like the point about bringing back this tradition).
I also agree that it would have been good to identify the dish...and the relationship of WWII to your family and the dish.
Looking forward to hearing more!
